Delicious cappuccino to go, but it also has its price ?

As a big fan of high-quality espresso and after reading the countless ingenious reviews, I came here specifically today and was completely disappointed. I have NEVER (!) Seen myself being served so arrogantly. Sentences like "Our espresso is not like everyone else" simply promises too much for what is asked for and offered in terms of price. And to explain to me as a guest that I wasn't getting any sugar - that was the increase. The broth tasted thin, had hardly any aroma, was too sour and I looked in vain for even the typical, wonderful smell. Personally, I can't understand the hype at all.

we spontaneously stopped at this cafe and it was such a pleasant surprise! delicious coffee, original craft beer, soft buttery scones and outstanding service! Seating outside was cozy and the place just had an overall friendly and homey vibe to it. Will definitely go back when i'm in Mainz :)

A good coffee place with a very and friendly staff and a cosy outside seating. The pastry - a shortbread - was good as well. On the other hand, the coffee was a bit a disappointment: not bad overall, but definitely not up to the standard - too creamy and watery, coffee taste itself felt weak.

Great, authentic coffee shop with a great location in Mainz! The cold cappuccino is highly recommended here ? The staff is extremely friendly - there are also a few small tables to linger. Gladly again!

Good place to have someone explain to you that you have apparently never had good coffee in your life, since only the mob asks for milk or sugar (there was milk after a much too long discussion, sugar not). In the end, I almost don't care how the broth tastes. Would have got a more honest experience at McCafé.

Everything great. Scones incredibly tasty and just as they should be. So good that I left out the butter and jam. ? FlatWhite is served without sugar - you know how to “properly” froth milk. Gladly again.

Highly priced but those who like fruity espressos get their money's worth here :)

Gentlemen, that's good coffee. And the cinnamon rolls !!! You could eat a second one. In addition, a very nice corner with some nice shops around it. Currently due to Corona only sit outside or take away. Outside you sit very, very sweetly in the green designed outdoor area.

THE coffee shop in the town :) Because It is not enough to have a Marsocco and a wonderful grinder if you put dark roast bean at 6euros/250g(a coffee producer can have a correct life at this price and can take care of environment!) !!!!! Here, you can find delicious coffee(about 10euros/250g minimum price for a good coffee) carefully done at each step: green bean selection, roasting, espresso skills :) Delicious cake too :) Open the door of fine coffee ! I had the best coffee there. The shop is small, but I think it should also be seen less than a standard cafe. On the map you can find a variety of different varieties and if you have no idea you will always be given very nice advice. Small snacks can of course also be found here.

Pretty Little Shop of the best coffee promises. Good music and nice atmosphere. First, there was a small glass of water, which I thought was very nice. Then there was a detailed Consulting übervdas offer. I chose an espresso and a cinnamon roll. When the espresso came and I asked for sugar, I was just in short: "Here there is no sugar." When I objected to that which was to predict there was no answer. So I drank the coffee as he was oh s sugar. Unfortunately, no enjoyment, rather sour and slightly aromatic. The cinnamon bun saved the little good taste. Conclusion, a lot of theaters and little result. Or, more illusion than reality. Once and never again.

If you like to drink coffee, you are in good hands here as far as you can get a seat. Very good service and of course coffee. But the prices are also ambitious. Here I would have expected Fairtrade coffee for a "commune".

Best coffee in town. Besides excellent specialty coffee (roasted by themselves) Kaffeekommune also offers selected exciting coffee variations. Eg their winter menu includes the combination of a Colombian natural with deer ham - sounds crazy but both tasted delicious.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The coffee selection is very large, the more important the good advice for us. Of course the coffee is delicious, we will be back!

Very nice to take a break, the avocado bread unbeatable, unfortunately only limited space, especially for groups, it will be a real challenge to find a place, but if you have made it, it is worth staying. :-)

Super delicious coffee and breakfast. And the staff is very friendly too. Price performance is OK too. You will not get enough of breakfast, but sometimes that is just enough.

This is very nice and relaxed cafe with plenty of outdoor seating and very good coffee - both the cappuccino and iced latte were excellent, some of the best I’ve had in Germany. Nice juices and banana bread too. In a nice location. Oh, and you can get ice cream next door and eat it with your coffee too.

Nice coffee place, but weirdly enough they don't have any forks.

Truly the best coffee in town, both cappuccino and Aeropress coffee were absolutely delicious. Small, cozy and hip. Best to come in small groups of 3-4 people max, since it is a small place with small tables. Friendly service and nice choice of background music

Friendly and professional staff that speak English is a plus. The espresso and cold brew is wonderful and the place has a great decor. Sitting outside on the street is nice too as the surrounding neighborhood has a great vibe to it. Definitely my favorite place in Mainz for coffee.
